Stem Cells

Stem cells are undifferentiated cells that have not fully specialized and possess the ability to differentiate into the cells of organs or tissues that make up our body.

Through cell division and differentiation, stem cells can create various organs and tissues, such as the brain, skin, cartilage, bones, nerves, and muscles. They can also regenerate damaged organs or tissues. Stem cell therapies leverage the tissue-regenerating function of stem cells, offering a more fundamental treatment compared to conventional drugs, which primarily focus on symptom relief.

Our company is currently developing advanced biopharmaceuticals using umbilical cord-derived stem cells. Umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells are known to have minimal immune rejection compared to other types of stem cells and are recognized for their excellent ability in vascular formation.

C-STEM™

The stem cell therapy under development by our company has mesenchymal stem cells derived from the umbilical cord as the main component, and development is underway with sarcopenia as the main target.

Sarcopenia causes diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and many others, and the death rate is two to 10 times higher than normal. In Korea, it has been given a disease code for 2021, and there is no cure yet worldwide.
It is a high-tech biopharmaceutical that treats diseases by administering healthy umbilical cord-derived stem cells and using the blood vessel formation and tissue regeneration capabilities of stem cells.
